Cape Campbell Lighthouse

When Scaffold Marlborough was asked to scaffold the Cape Campbell Lighthouse for painting, we took on the challenge.

The remote and difficult but breathtakingly beautiful coastal setting proved a formidable challenge for installing a scaffold that would withstand the environment.

With winds regularly surpassing 80 km/ph, we had to develop a design that enabled complete scaffold encapsulation with scrim yet did not contact the lighthouse at any point.

Using our in-house design knowledge and utilising the Layher system, we implemented a design that withstood all that was thrown at the scaffold, including the severe Cook Stright winds.

The scaffold performed excellently for our clients, enabling them to fully re-paint the 120-year-old lighthouse despite the site's environmental challenges.

At Scaffold Marlborough, we take great pride in finding the right solution for our clients and enabling them to do their work safely and efficiently.

This project proved that we are up to the challenge when called upon.

We provide scaffolding services of the highest standard.
