Layher Scaffolding System
We primarily use Layher Scaffolding systems. Layher systems have verified heavy-duty loading that meets relevant European and Australian/New Zealand standards. They are WorkCover registered and ISO 9001 and ISO 9002 certified. Using the best scaffolding systems and following manufacturer guidelines ensures our scaffolding is the safest possible.
Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy
All staff are required to undergo screening for drugs and alcohol through pre-employment testing, random testing and post-incident testing.
Site Safe Members
Keeping us up to date with health and safety information, client site management, and industry standards.
Safety Management Systems
We regularly review our systems through external audits, including scaffold inspections, to ensure we maintain our high standards.
Equipment Inspection
We carry out regular safety inspections of our vast array of safety equipment, including external audits of height safety equipment.
Weekly Scaffolding Inspections
As per Worksafe NZ requirements, we inspect all installed scaffolds to ensure they remain fit for purpose and safe to use. All scaffolds built by Scaffold Marlborough are maintained and inspected by our qualified staff, who hold a current and valid Certificate of Competence (CoC) issued by SARNZ.
Environmental Impact
Scaffold Marlborough strives to reduce its environmental impact as much as possible. While scaffolding inherently does not generate much waste, we ensure that any packaging from manufacturers and suppliers is recycled or reused where possible. We are also GoodWrap Certified, meaning we can recycle up to 100% of any plastic Shrinkwrap used on our projects. We are also constantly looking for ways to minimise our environmental impact through further waste reduction programs and partnering with our clients and suppliers to reduce, reuse and recycle.
